A man was arrested after windows were smashed at a home while the resident was inside.

Police were called just before 7.30am on Friday, April 26 following reports of damage to a property in Cornes Close, Ashford.

Pictures from the occupant show the damage done to their windows, which left glass scattered inside the property in Willesborough.

The resident reported they were inside their home when they heard the windows smash, adding the sound woke them up.

A 37-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and has been released on bail pending further investigation.
