A man in his 30s had to be cut free from a car after a crash with a lorry this morning.
Emergency crews rushed to the A20 Ashford Road, between Sellindge and Hythe, around 5.40am where they found a man trapped inside a car.
Firefighters removed the roof and the man was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "We responded to a crash involving a long goods vehicle and a car this morning.
"We used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of one of the vehicles and release a man trapped inside. He was then handed into the care of paramedics."
A SECAmb spokesman said two paramedic cars and an ambulance attended the scene.
He said: "A man, aged approximately in his 30s, was assessed and treated for injuries, including suspected arm, leg and back injuries before being taken as a priority to William Harvey Hospital."
