A man who was killed after his car crashed into a bridge at a motorway junction has been named.
Vitas Maselskis, 39, died after his black Mercedes left the road on Junction 9 of the M20 in Ashford last Friday.
Emergency services were called at about 4.40am following the incident on the roundabout.
Two fire engines attended the scene, along with the ambulance service's hazardous area response team.
Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the driver of the Mercedes A-Class, which was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
Mr Maselskis, who lived in Ashford, was rushed to King's College Hospital in London with serious injuries.
Police confirmed on Saturday morning that he passed away.
His next of kin have been informed, and police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the crash.
An inquest into his death is due to open next week.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses who saw the vehicle prior to the incident.
They would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that may assist their investigation.
