A man required emergency treatment after having an unknown substance sprayed over him during a fight at a house in Ashford.
One man has been arrested after emergency services were called to a house on the Repton Park North estate yesterday following reports of the incident.
Police and ambulance crews were called alongside two fire engines to a house in Ordinance Way at about 11.04am.
A police spokesman said: "We received a report that a man had been assaulted at an address in Ordinance Way, Ashford, yesterday.
"The victim reported having an unknown substance sprayed at him following an altercation with another man.
"Officers attended with fire and ambulance services, and the victim was treated at the scene."
A 35-year-old man from Sittingbourne was arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident.
He currently remains in custody while enquiries continue.
