Simone Weil Avenue, Ashford, near Sainsbury’s, partially blocked following crash

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving four cars outside a busy supermarket.

Police officers and paramedics were called to the accident along the A28 Simone Weil Avenue, in Ashford, at around 1.30pm today (November 23).

They attended the scene near Warren Retail Park which hosts Sainsbury’s, M&S Food and Home Bargains.

The man was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

No other injuries were reported.

The road was partially blocked eastbound following the accident causing slow-moving traffic in the area.

It reopened shortly after 3.15pm.
