A motorway has fully reopened - more than five hours after a lorry jack-knifed on the M20.
The overturned HGV blocked all three lanes of the M20 between junctions 9 and 8 London-bound.
Fire crews used hydraulic equipment to rescue the lorry driver, who was treated by paramedics.
He was then flown to hospital with injuries described as "potentially serious".
Both sides of the motorway were closed to allow the air ambulance to land at the scene.
The coast-bound carriageway reopened after 50 minutes, but traffic remains slow.
Emergency crews, including police officers, fire crews and paramedics, rushed to the scene at 11.30am.
Highways chiefs warned motorists to expect delays and allow extra time for journeys.
All London-bound traffic is being diverted off at junction 9, and trapped traffic between junctions 9 and 8 is being turned around.
The road was originally expected to reopen at 3.30pm.
