Four men were booted from a train for not wearing masks.
The individuals were intercepted today near Wye by British Transport Police officers doing a spot check for offenders.
Since June 15, face coverings have been mandatory for public transport users and those disobeying the rule could be fined £100 - or £50 if you pay the fine within 14 days.
Regarding today's incident, BTP Kent tweeted: "Officers have been on board trains this afternoon with our @Se_Railway enforcement officer colleagues, enforcing the wearing of face coverings.
"Most were abiding by the rules but officers escorted 4 males to #wye who thought the rules did not apply to them!"
