A memorial service to commemorate the life of one of the area's great benefactors takes place next week.

Miss Diana Seabrooke was a legend in her lifetime, always helping others.

Now those who appreciated the legacy of her good deeds will gather to celebrate her life.

Miss Seabrooke of Oxenturn Road, Wye, died aged 82 last November.

Many charities and individuals helped by the former Ashford Probation officer will attend a thanksgiving service being held on Friday, May 16, at 2pm at St Gregory’s and St Martin’s Church in Wye.
