Two men are set to be deported after they were arrested at a building site.
Six men - five from India and one from Ukraine - were arrested earlier today after immigration officers descended on the Ashford Designer Outlet.
They are believed to have been working on the shopping centre's expansion, in Kimberley Way, illegally.
Two of the Indians, aged 36 and 30, allegedly overstayed their visas.
The others - aged between 29 and 54 - are thought to have entered the UK illegally.
A Home Office spokesman added: "Two of the men have been detained pending their removal from the UK.
"The others must report regularly to the Home Office while their cases are dealt with."
A spokesman for the shopping centre said immigration officers had visited the site to carry out a routine check of workers' documents.
Building contractor McLaren said: "We operate with multiple sub-contractors and UK agencies for additional labour who must complete a vetting process and have the correct documentation to work on our sites.
"We are working closely with UK Immigration to ensure complete transparency and co-operation.”
