A 13-year-old Kent girl reported missing from home was found safe and well this afternoon.

Louise Appleby-Baxter vanished after being seen at about 9.30am last Sunday. Concern was growing for her welfare.

She was found in Ashford. A police spokesman said: "We would like to thank the public for their responses to the media appeal."
