A MAN who went missing for more than a week has been found at an hotel following a tip-off from a member of the public.

Ernest Boobyer, 62, who suffers from a mild form of dementia, was found at Ashford's exclusive Eastwell Manor. He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, but police have described him as being safe and well.

Mr Boobyer, from Dymchurch, near Hythe, vanished on September 12 when he was last seen getting on a bus in Dymchurch Road, St Mary's Bay, to go to Sainsbury's in New Romney.
