A YOUNG man who had been missing from his home in Ashford since Monday has been found safe and well by the town's police.

David Christopher Stephens, aged 19, had been living rough in the area.

He had been reported missing by his mother from his home in Ashford's Eastmead Avenue. Police officers, including police dog handlers, and Kent Search and Rescue had been involved in the search for him.
