A number of roads will be closed this weekend, as Ashford's annual 10km run returns.
This year's Givaudan 10k Run continues the legacy of the Julie Rose 10k Road Race which has been held since 1986.
With 1200 entrants expected at Sunday's event, 16 roads are set to be cordoned off either partially or completely.
The Ashford roads affected are as follows:
A2070 Kennington Road - For its entire length
A2070 Willesborough Road - For its entire length
A28 Canterbury Road - Between the junctions with A2070 Willesborough Road and The Street
The Street - For its entire length
Ulley Road - between the junctions with The Street and Upper Vicarage Road
Upper Vicarage Road - For its entire length
A2042 Faversham Road - Between the junctions with Upper Vicarage Road and A28 Canterbury Road, at Penlee Point
A28 Canterbury Road - Between the junctions with A2042 Faversham Road and A28 Simone Weil Avenue
A2042 Canterbury Road - Between the junctions with A28 Simone Weil Avenue and Hardinge Road
A2042 North Street - Between the junctions with Hardinge Road and A292 Somerset Road
A292 Somerset Road - Between the junctions with A2042 North Street and A292 Mace Lane
A292 Mace Lane - For its entire length
A292 Hythe Road - Between the junctions with A292 Mace Lane and Lees Road
Lees Road - Between the junctions with A292 Hythe Road and Silver Hill Road
Lees Road, Willesborough - For its entire length
A2070 Kennington Road - Between the junctions with Silver Hill Road and A2070 Willesborough Road
The event, organised by Ashford Athletics Club, starts at 10am at the Julie Rose Stadium with a children's race also planned on the day. It costs £16 for affiliated entry and £18 for unaffiliated. To enter on the day it will be £20.
In preparation, the road closures will commence from 9 am and continue to midday at the latest.
