A woman and a child were taken to hospital this morning following an accident on the M20 involving one car.

Police were called to Junction 10 of the M20 London bound at 9.10am to a report that a vehicle had lost control, spun and came to a stop on the hard shoulder.

Ambulance attended and a woman and a child were taken to the William Harvey Hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic built up after lane one of the carriageway was closed for a short time while the debris was cleared. It has since re opened.
