A motorbike parked up in a residential street has been destroyed by a fire.

Firefighters were called to Rylands Way in Ashford at about 11.30pm last night where they spent 20 minutes tackling the flames.

Crew manager Tim Hanley said: "The bike was totally destroyed.

"The cause of the fire is under investigation."

He said the owner of the bike was not present.
