A motorcyclist has been injured in a crash.
The air ambulance was called to a collision in Wye, near Ashford yesterday evening.
Emergency services attended the scene on the A28 yesterday evening after a motorbike and car collided at around 6.15pm.
The road was shut as the air ambulance landed close to the incident, which happened near the junction with White Hill.
Police and paramedics also attended, and two people were treated at the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken to the William Harvey Hospital by road, while a second patient – who was in the car – was checked over and discharged at the scene.
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed the air ambulance crew aided paramedics at the scene but were not required to airlift any patients.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A28 in Wye, near to the junction with White Hill, at around 6.24pm yesterday.
