A motorcyclist was taken to hospital this morning after a crash with a car.

Emergency crews were called to the junction of Singleton Hill and Tithe Barn Lane around 6.30am after reports of the collision.

The motorcyclist suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police described his condition as being 'slight'.

The road was temporarily blocked but has since been cleared.
