A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash with a car.

The two vehicles collided on the A20 Hythe Road at Smeeth, near Ashford, at around 9.15pm last night.

Ambulance crews were called to the scene, close to the junction with Station Road, and treated the motorcyclist in the road before they were taken to the William Harvey Hospital.

Police also attended the scene and confirmed the road was clear an hour and 15 minutes later at 10.30pm.
