Police are at the scene of a crash involving two vehicles on a road currently undergoing major roadworks.
The incident happened this morning on the A2070 in Ashford.
Police were called at about 6.30am to a collision involving two cars on Bad Munstereifel Road.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are currently at the scene arranging recovery for the vehicles.
"No injuries have been reported."
This part of the town is currently being transformed as the former roundabout has been removed to make way for a new four way traffic light system.
Work is set to be completed to the road this month after starting 10 months ago.
The project was initially set to be done by October 2022 but the cold snap meant the tarmac couldn't be laid.
The road works have also seen an "embarrassing" mistake on a new road sign which has been put up nearby.
The huge sign erected at the new traffic-light controlled junction from Waterbrook Avenue in Ashford mistakenly labels the area of Newtown as 'Newton'.
