A man says that he has been receiving mouldy fruit deliveries from Tesco for months.
Clifford Styles, from Sellindge between Ashford and Hythe, says that numerous deliveries have included food that has passed or is on its expiry date.
"The thing is, I can't go into the shops as I've got got a bad knee, arthritis, diabetes; I'm also extremely wary of coronavirus still," he explained.
"I had been going to Iceland but I thought I would pay the £7.99 to Tesco, and thought well it's got to be an improvement.
"It's been far from it though, the fruit has either been out of date, close to date, has arrived rotten or gone rotten in a day or less.
"Tuesday and Thursday of last week, I had mouldy oranges and nectarines in each of them respectively.
"I had another delivery on Monday and I’ve just thrown half of it away. How is that acceptable?"
Unfortunately Mr Styles says that the delivery troubles don't end there, with yellow broccoli, brown cauliflower and gristly fillet steak also hampering his nourishment.
He also says that he hasn't had any luck appealing for refunds.
"All I've really got so far is an automated email saying they will get back to me, with a link to their FAQ's," he said.
"I tried calling them but they just got snippy with me and hung up the phone".
Tesco has been approached for comment.
