Nando's has confirmed when it will open in a long-empty unit at Ashford Designer Outlet.
The South African chain is to fill a spot in the centre's £90m extension next to Yo! Sushi.
And chicken fans don't have long to wait as staff are preparing to open on Wednesday, September 28.
The company was originally banned from joining the centre when the extension was approved in 2015.
It was one of 39 businesses restricted in an agreement by Ashford Borough Council (ABC) and owners McArthurGlen in a bid to protect the town centre.
JD Wetherspoon, TGI Fridays and Gourmet Burger Kitchen were also blacklisted.
But following a review, Nando's was allowed in and will now take up a spot opposite Timberland and TOG24.
The company, which was founded in Johannesburg in 1987, already has a restaurant in Ashford on Eureka Leisure Park next to Cineworld.
