Folkestone boss Neil Cugley welcomes back some key men from injury this weekend but is targeting midfield quality in a bid to further strengthen his squad.
Cugley (pictured) takes his side to Merstham on Saturday knowing just a little tinkering is needed to his Ryman League, Division 1 South outfit.
"We are quite strong at the back and maybe we just need a midfield player," said Cugley. At the moment we can move players around but if I can bring one in, I will.
"I am looking for a playmaker. We have lots of endeavour and players with workrate in the side but we know the sort of player I am after is not easy to come by."
Cugley is boosted by the imminent return of much-needed additions to his forward line.
"We are hoping that both Paul Jones and Richard Atkins will be included in the squad this weekend," he said. "They are big players and Stuart King is not far behind as well."
Cugley’s side sit on the verge of the play-off positions with 10 games played and last Saturday the players were given a rare day off as the club had no fixture. It allowed Micheal Everitt (ankle) additional time to gain fitness.
