A new furniture retailer will be joining the other new units at Ashford Retail Park.
DFS, the UK’s largest sofa retailer, will bring a new multimillion-pound store to the site in Sevington.
It will open on Saturday, April 8 at 9am and create 10 jobs.
The store will work with the company’s charity partnership, the British Heart Foundation, allowing customers to have their unwanted sofa collected for free by the charity and then resold in one of its furniture and electrical stores across the UK.
Tom Roffey, sales director at DFS, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our newest store in Ashford and bringing our five decades of knowledge and experience in sofa-making to the local community.
“The new Ashford team will all undergo an extensive training programme, to ensure that they provide our new customers with the highest level of customer service and expertise.
“Our successful applicants will be trained to know their Chesterfields from their chaises in order to provide their fellow Ashford residents with the best advice and service for them.
“Our customers are integral to us and we invest in our colleagues to ensure that whenever someone steps through our door, their needs are quickly understood, the right advice given and ultimately the perfect sofa is designed and handmade for them.”
