A new high-end coffee shop will open in Ashford this week.

Patisserie Valerie will open on Thursday, March 2 at Ashford Designer Outlet.

The Patisserie Valerie brand was established in 1926, when Belgian-born Madame Valerie opened her continental Patisserie Café in London Soho.

Today the chain has expanded across the UK.

All stores are supplied on a daily basis from one of the bakeries, offering fresh quality cakes and patisserie, alongside continental and cooked breakfasts, and freshly cooked café favourites.

It will be open from 10am until 8pm on Monday to Saturday, and 10am until 6pm on Sundays.

It replaces the Cornish Bakery, which closed last month after its lease was not renewed by McArthurGlen.
