Hungry shoppers were not lovin' it this afternoon, after discovering a McDonald's branch was unable to serve popular drinks.
Queues have been forming at the fast food branch in Ashford town centre this afternoon, as staff have been forced to explain to customers they are unable to have their favourite beverage alongside their Big Macs and Happy Meals.
A sign placed in the window at the front of the store on Hugh Street reads: "NO HOT DRINKS AND NO SOFT DRINKS.
"Bottles and milkshakes only."
The issue means that thirsty business people and families are unable to order drinks including coffee, Coke Zero and anything from the iced McCafe range.
Bottled drinks such as water and orange juice, as well as milkshakes, are still available.
The problem has been put down to 'equipment failure'.
The sign continues: "Sorry for the inconvenience."
It is not known if other branches are affected.
A McDonald's spokesman said: "Due to a technical issue, our Ashford town centre restaurant is currently only able to serve bottled drinks and milkshakes.
"We are expecting normal service to resume before lunch time tomorrow.”
