The countdown is under way for the Pilgrims Hospices' annual Pyjama Walk.
With only four sleeps to go before the big event, walkers from Ashford are busy washing their favourite pyjamas and onesies in preparation for the 10k trek.
The hospice is expecting more than 1,000 people of all ages to participate in the walk this Saturday night.
The fun will kick off at 8.30pm at the Ashford Designer Outlet, in Kimberley Way, with music from Pelo Mar, Whitstable’s Community Samba Band, and Ashford Sings!
The walk will then start at 10pm with the route passing Victoria Park, the town centre, Lidl, Drover’s roundabout, Waitrose, Matalan, before heading back to the Outlet via Brookfield Road and Beaver Lane.
Nigel Donkin, regional fundraising manager: “The walk always creates a wonderful carnival atmosphere.
"With the fabulous sounds of Ashford Sings! to entertain us and the rhythms of the Pelo Mar, Whitstable’s Community Samba Band to get us in the mood, there will be a real party atmosphere.
“The new route takes in a long residential road and we hope to see a whole crowd of residents cheering the walkers along.
"If you find yourself at a loose end on Saturday night, with no football to watch on the television, why not come and join in the fun whilst at the same time helping to raise much needed funds for Pilgrims.
