Shoppers were evacuated from the Ashford Designer Outlet Centre on Tuesday morning as part of a staff training exercise.

David Maddison, the centre manager said: “The safety of our customers and staff is extremely important to us which is why we regularly engage in training exercises, such as fire drills, to ensure our procedures are quick, effective and well-rehearsed.”
