Motorists are being advised of a series of road closures taking place to improve the surface of two busy roads in the Ashford area.
Resurfacing work to the M20 will be completed during overnight closures this weekend.
The Londonbound carriageways between junctions 10 and 9 will be shut overnight on Saturday and Sunday to allow for the work to be carried out.
This will be followed by a scheme to improve the coastbound M20, and the A2070 between Junction 10 and Brenzett.
The work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday.
The scheme is due for completion in mid-October.
Meanwhile there are three planned closures in Folkestone.
The southbound carriageway of Castle Hill Road - towards Sandgate Road - between the junction with Shornecliff Road and Ingles Road will be closed for four weeks due to sewerage and drainage works which started on Monday.
The one way section of St Michael’s Street from Dover Road will be shut on Wednesday September 18 between 9am and 4.30pm. A diversion is in place around Harvey Street, Margaret Street and St Michael’s Street.
The High Street and Esplanade in Sandgate will be closed for resurfacing works weekday nights between 7pm and 2am from Wednesday September 25 for two weeks.
A diversion will be in operation around Military Road, North Road, West Road and Hospital Hill.
Residents and motorists who usually park on the road are required to move their vehicles.
Parking is available in Castle Road carpark.
