A garden party to mark the centenary of the National Farmers’ Union was held in Ashford.

Farmers and growers from across Kent gathered at Godinton House, Godinton Lane, for the event.

The party gave farmers and growers the opportunity to discuss the state of the farming industry with guests including Jonathan Shaw MP, the Minister for the South East, Ashford MP Damian Green and MEP Richard Ashworth.

Around 300 members attended.
