A Grade II-listed pub run by Paul Hollywood's fiancée has been put on the market for £1 million.
The Chequers Inn in Smarden near Ashford has been owned by the Spalding family for several years – including landlady Melissa Spalding who has been dating the celebrity baker since 2019.
But the historic site in The Street – which dates back to the 15th century – has now been listed on Rightmove for £999,995.
The venue has seven rooms, a 35-cover bar, a 37-cover restaurant with a pizza oven, and a large two-bedroom owner's accommodation.
The property is a Grade II-listed former coaching inn.
Hollywood, who lives in Smarden, reportedly met Ms Spalding at the pub four years ago.
Before lockdown in 2020, the Great British Bake Off star judged a village baking event held at the venue to raise money for Smarden Parish Council.
People crammed into the cosy hostelry to get a glimpse of the 57-year-old who was searching for the village star baker.
There are reports the couple got engaged last April.
The pub recently took on a new head chef Ollie Brown on March 22.
He was previously the sous chef at The Hand and Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, which has two Michelin stars.
In 2019, the Chequers Inn bagged a triple win of accolades.
It won the TripAdvisor excellence award and made it into the AA Guide 'pick of the pubs'.
