A pensioner has been seriously injured in a road collision in Hythe.
The man, thought to be in his 70s, suffered head injuries shortly before 2pm, in an incident in Military Road.
There was traffic chaos as police closed the area around Red Lion Square.
The man has been taken to William Harvey Hospital for treatment.
