The point-to-point season resumes after a five-week gap at Charing where the South East Hunts Club hold their fixture on Sunday.
The eight-race card is due to start at 11.15am and with 135 horses entered there should be some excellent racing.
Although owners and trainers have experienced difficult training conditions these last six weeks, punters will need to consider fitness before placing their bets.
An interesting entry in the 2.5-mile Maiden is locally-trained Prince Rodney, formerly trained by Francois Doumen, having had just four runs in France, the best of which was fourth in a flat race.
His present trainer, David Phelan, from Brook, near Ashford, thinks he will need the run having been held up by the weather but he is certainly one for the notebook.
Heather Kemp, part owner and trainer of Ballybough Billy, seldom leaves a meeting without a winner and this winning chaser should take the Restricted.
For the Men's Open Bee An Bee looks the pick. A prolific winner last season, he won six of his seven races, having fallen in the seventh giving his owner rider David Robinson a crashing fall which put him out for the season. If he retains that form he will take some beating.
For the Ladies, Theatre Knight, a winner over fences, could appreciate a drop in class.
In the Conditions Race Exodus, if back to form, will take all the betaing.
