Police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen on Sunday.

Sophie Heywood, from Hythe, was spotted in Folkestone at 5.30pm, possibly heading towards the central station.

It is thought she may be with an 18-year-old boy and could possibly be in Ilford, Basildon, Southend or Hastings.

Sophie is described as white, 5ft 4ins with dark, straight shoulder length hair.

She was wearing white skinny jeans and a long-sleeved black v-neck top. She has a nose stud.
