A road has been shut following a crash involving several people in three vehicles.
Police, firefighters and the air ambulance have been called to the A28 Ashford Road in Great Chart near Ashford following the incident.
The route has been shut in both directions and drivers are being advised to avoid the area.
A Kent County Council representative is attending to assist with vehicle spillage and clearance near the Chilmington Green Road junction.
An air ambulance has recently left the scene and an ambulance service spokesperson confirmed there were multiple casualties receiving treatment at the scene.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service added paramedics were called shortly after 2.30pm.
“Crews are currently on scene and assessing those involved,” they said.
The fire service said four engines were called but left the scene at about 4.20pm.
A spokesman said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called at 2.44pm to assist Kent Police on the A28 in Great Chart, Ashford, following reports of a crash involving three vehicles.”
