Police were called over concerns for a man found in a bush near a shop in Willesborough this morning.

Officers attended the Tesco Express store off Hythe Road following reports for the man's welfare.

He was seen lying on the ground near bushes and officers were called at 11am to the store in Mill Court.

But it emerged the man was drunk and homeless.

Police took him to hospital for treatment.
