A 21-year-old man has been arrested for drug offences and dangerous driving following a police chase in Ashford.

Officers attempted to stop a car in Kingsnorth Road at around 11.40am on Friday and pursued the vehicle into Britannia Lane as it failed to pull over.

A man from East London has been arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs.

He has since been released pending further inquires.

Police have also seized his vehicle following the incident.
