A police appeal against a county court judgement blaming them for a crash which killed a young mother has been brought forward by a month.
The dates had originally been set for April 22 and 23 but have now changed to March 26 and 27, based on the availability of barristers.
Mother-of-one Rachel Cheesewright, 29, of Guernsey Way, Kennington, was killed when her car was cut in two in the crash on the A28 at Bethersden in October 2005.
Last September a judge after a civil trial concluded that Kent Police were entirely to blame for the accident.
The case is listed under Armsden v Kent Police. Action by the family comes under the name of Alan Armsden, a close family friend and the executor of Miss Cheesewright’s estate.
Kent Police do no want to comment until the case is heard.
