Police have released an e-fit of a man believed to have stolen money and jewellery from a house.

The man, thought to be between 45 and 55, was found inside the property in Stone Street, Stanford, at 10am on Wednesday November 8.

The man, described as 5ft 10in tall and of a slim build, fled the property when he was disturbed, damaging the front door.

He was wearing blue jeans, a green jumper and a jacket at the time of the raid.
