A caravan that was stolen from Ashford was recovered from Swanley by police just a few hours after it was taken.
The mobile home was believed to have been taken in the early hours of yesterday morning from where it was parked, on the front drive of a home along Ashford Road in Kingsnorth.
It was fitted with a tracking device that let's the owner see exactly where it is located.
The owner of the caravan, who asked not be to named, said: "We sleep in the downstairs bedroom less than 10ft away from it and did not hear a thing.
"I opened the blind yesterday morning and did a double take, it just didn't register. My partner didn't believe me to begin with.
"They'd managed to prise off the hitch-lock as well as a heavy duty wheel-clamp that goes through the wheel.
"Then they put all four legs up and towed it away and got it out past the car."

Luckily, the caravan had been fitted with a tracking device so the owner's could see exactly where their mobile home was.
She continued: "We rang the police and was on the phone to them as we were tracking the caravan.
"The tracking device texts you the exact location of the caravan, it's longitude and latitude, sends you a Google map of where it is and how fast it is travelling or if it is stationary - which it was."
The caravan was recovered by the police just a few hours later and is now being held by officers as it is tested for forensics.
The owner added: "We're pleased its been found but I just really hope that there's no damage.
"We've only been living here for five weeks so it's really unnerving.
"I've had a caravan for over 30 years and this is the first time this has ever happened."
A police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a stolen caravan at around 8am on Friday, February 9.
"The caravan, which was reported stolen from Ashford Road in Kingsnorth, was recovered by officers at around 11am in Swanley.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the theft."
The police are now trying to pinpoint exactly what time the caravan was stolen.
