Eight people have been arrested following the discovery of more than 800 cannabis plants.
Police found the large "cannabis cultivation" in the early hours this morning after reports of a suspected burglary taking place at a premises in Smarden, near Ashford.
Police were called at 1.19am and found the plants in an outbuilding.
Officers arrested three men from Maidstone, aged 24, 26, and 43, two men from Wisbech, Lincolnshire, both aged 44, and a 24-year-old man from Orpington, south London.
A 31-year-old man, whose address is not known, and a 33-year-old man from Faversham were also arrested.
All eight men were taken into custody on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
Police say enquiries are continuing.
