Police are hunting a suspected hit-and-run driver after a crash on a village road.

Officers were called just after 11am to the A28 at Bethersden.

The incident involved a motorbike and a car. Two motorcyclists were believed to have sustained minor injuries.

A force spokesman said it was reported the car driver did not stop after the collision and police are carrying out enquiries to locate the vehicle.
