Several villagers have woken up to find their cars have been vandalised overnight.
Police are appealing for witnesses after windows were smashed on a number of vehicles in Brabourne and Smeeth near Ashford in the early hours of this morning.
A green Porsche is among the damaged vehicles and officers have now launched an investigation into the incident.
Russell King, who has lived in Woolpack Hill for 17 years, said he was disgusted to see what has been done throughout the 'lovely village'.
He said: "We heard the people vandalising ours and our neighbours car at 12.15am.
"I went out to check what had happened and found that ours and our neighbours cars had been hit with what looked like a hammer and a glass beer bottle.
"We then walked round to check my mother's car which was parked in Church Road to find that that too had been vandalised as had two more further up the road.
"They smashed our front windscreen and passenger window.
"Our rear passenger window is marked beyond repair and there are hammer marks on the bodywork."
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or who has CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which might assist officers, is urged to contact police.
Witnesses should call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/144456/22 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete the online form on their website.
