More than 100 mourners attended the funeral of Ashford woman, Dorothy Frances Conway.
Family and friends gathered at St Simon Stock Catholic Church to pay their respects to the 83-year-old.
Traffic momentarily halted as a procession of 12 limos and a hearse made their way to the church in Brookfield Road this afternoon.
Colourful tribute flowers read "Nan" and "Mum" while other more unusual arrangements resembled a turkish delight wrapper and packet of wotsits crisps.
In a notice of Mrs Conway's death, the family said: "Fondly loved by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts and thoughts."
Mrs Conway passed away on December 13.
