Survivors watched their "psychopathic" serial rapist - who tied one woman up and attacked another at a festival - jailed for 17 years.
Daniel Frake, formerly of Ashford, subjected three victims to sustained sexual violence between 2007 and 2014.
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to raping one woman before trial but denied assaulting a further two, claiming sex was consensual.
But jurors convicted Frake of two counts of rape and sexual assault following a trial at Canterbury Crown Court in April.
A judge branded the former plumber "remorseless" and "narcissistic" today before jailing him.
One of Frake's survivors, who still battles flashbacks and PTSD, addressed him directly in court: "Your actions inadvertently woke a warrior in me.
"Because of this I know I can cope with anything life throws at me.
"After so long of being trapped in the shadows of the terrifying world you created I have now chosen to step in the light - thank you."
But she added the thought of being touched still fills her with horror and dread.
Another described Frake's actions as having destroying her life, while one survivor labelled her attacker a "psychopath."
Frake raped two women, also sexually assaulting one of them, in Ashford between 2007 and 2012, he then targeted another in Margate in 2014.
Describing one attack in Margate between 2007 and 2008, prosecutor Tim Naik said during the trial: “(Frake) tied her up and sexually assaulted her, then raped her.”
"She was trying to scream but he covered her mouth and she couldn’t..."
Frake would then rape another woman while stifling her screams inside a festival in the Ashford district in 2010, Mr Naik said.
“He grabbed her by the throat, humiliating her, spitting in her face, she says she was trying to scream but he covered her mouth and she couldn’t,” he said.
One victim fled the UK after believing the police initially “did not take her complaint seriously”.
But her case was re-examined after the force received a complaint from a separate woman.
Mr Naik said: “The prosecution say he wouldn’t take no for an answer, that is the sort of person he is."
Frake vehemently denied two allegations following his arrest in 2016, arguing the sex was either consensual or did not happen.
But jurors took four hours and 12 minutes to convict Frake of two counts of rape and sexual assault.
Frake, of Elm Grove Road in Salisbury, Wiltshire, developed a "resentment towards women" after suffering a "horrific childhood," his barrister said.
Representing Frake, Lucy Kennedy added he accepts drugs are a "contributing factor" towards his behaviour, which he continues to address in prison.
Frake, who has spent 562 days on remand, will have to serve two thirds of his custodial sentence before being considered for parole, then a further four on licence.
“You have a concerning lack of empathy and what in my judgement amounts to a narcissistic personality," Judge Simon James told Frake.
“In reality, you have shown no remorse in respect of the (two) rapes.
He told Frake his personality amounts to a “toxic combination of an established pattern of offending, a denial of responsibility and repeated efforts at justifying your behaviour and an entrenched desire to sexually dominate and use sexual acts to intimidate and punish.”
Alluding to one victim’s evidence during the trial, Judge James told Frake he was “apparently revelling in the pain you were causing her.”
