A council standards group will meet to investigate the Jack Woodford race row in two weeks.
Ashford borough’s standards committee will discuss the furore at a private meeting on August 7.
It will decide whether the incident, in which Cllr Woodford told an Asian to “get back to washing dishes in a curry house” should come before its next public meeting on November 11.
An Ashford Borough Council spokesman said: “Any matters that are referred for investigation will form part of the next public meeting in November.”
Cllr Woodford (Ash Ind) a Wye ward councillor, caused uproar when he made the remarks to Nunu Amin in a row on Facebook although he had also been insulted.
Prominent councillors, such as leader Paul Clokie (Con), have called on him to resign and Wye Parish Council has now also joined condemnation of the outburst.
In a statement it said; “The parish council deplores Cllr Woodford’s recent remarks on Facebook and dissociates itself entirely from them.
“It requests Cllr Woodford to apologise without reservation to the parish council and to the residents of Wye and Hinxhill parish for the embarrassment and offence caused.”
Cllr Woodford has refused to resign his borough seat but has already made a public apology, including to the people of Wye.
