A road has been closed and people taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars.

Police were called just before 9am alongside paramedics to reports of a smash near Ashford.

It happened on the B2067, Ruckinge Road between Bilsington and Ruckinge - between the White Horse pub the Oak Flooring Company.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and vehicle occupants were taken to a local hospital after injuries were reported.”

No further details have yet been released.
