Experts are predicting properties close to the Great Stour river will flood soon.
An Environment Agency flood warning is in force in the area stretching between Lenham Heath and Hothfield.
That means that flooding is imminent and immediate action is required.
It comes after river levels rose following heavy rainfall earlier today.
An Environment Agency spokesman said flooding of property close to the river Great Stour is expected.

Lower River Stour Area
Plenty, Swalecliffe and West Brooks Area
River Beult Area
River Bourne Area
River Rother Area
Rivers Eden and Eden Brook Area
Rivers on the Isle of Sheppey
Upper River Medway Area
Upper River Stour Area
The alert means flooding is possible and householders should be prepared.
