A duo accused of attacking a driver with crowbars in a road rage row have been acquitted.
A jury at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday took three hours to return verdicts on Benjamin Simons, 43, and Stephen Luckhurst 56.
The builders were accused of causing actual bodily harm to Kieran McQuillan on the afternoon of March 28 last year.
The alleged incident happened when Simons was driving his black Volvo along the A2070 close to Hamstreet, near Ashford, with Luckhurst as a passenger, when Mr McQuillan allegedly became aggressive in the car behind.
Simons and Luckhurst stood accused of using unreasonable force during the subsequent row, however the jury unanimously found them not guilty.
Luckhurst, of Bryant Close in Nettlestead near Maidstone, who was represented by Eiran Reilly, had denied causing actual bodily harm at a previous hearing
Simons, of Hanbury Close in Wateringbury near Maidstone, who was represented by John Oliver, had also denied causing actual bodily harm at a previous hearing.
