Work to install maintenance vehicle strips on four roundabouts in Ashford is costing more than £100,000.
Kent County Council is installing the strips on roundabouts in Orchard Heights, New Street, Forestall Meadow near Park Farm Tesco and Charing Hill.
The work involves removing a central section of the roundabout to create a flat area on which maintenance vehicles can park to carry out work without disrupting traffic.
Of the four projects, two - in Orchard Heights and Forestall Meadow - cost £38,000 each.
These have both been completed.
Work on the New Street roundabout started at the end of July and is expected to finish on Wednesday, August 21, costing £30,000.
The final roundabout at Charing Hill will cost the least at £27,000, but work is yet to start.
