A man with a “rounders bat” was among three people arrested amid a town centre disturbance - after a teenage girl was reportedly attacked in a park.
Police were called to Bank Street in Ashford just before 7pm on Sunday following reports of a ruckus involving a group of people.
Footage shared with KentOnline shows officers outside Forever 21 Nails and Trattoria Romana in the street.
A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon, believed to be a rounders bat.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray, and later further arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage.
A teenage boy was also arrested on suspicion of assault after a teenage girl sustained minor injuries in an attack said to have taken place earlier in the day in Victoria Park.
The boy was later bailed to re-attend Folkestone police station and the two men who were arrested were bailed pending further enquiries.
An investigation into the full circumstances is ongoing.
